The JEDZ is an agency of Jintan mumicipal government, there are one office and seven bureaus. They are :office, economy development bureau,investment promotion bureau, finance bureau,rural work bureau, the bureau of personal, labor and social security,social undertaking bureau and construction & environment protection bureau.

The office of the JEDZ:in charge of the daily affairs of the CPC working committee of the JEDZ and the administrative committee of the JEDZ;in charge of the affairs such as meetings, writing and secretary,archives,information,letters and calls,word printing,confidential,maintauning secrecy and administrative logistics work.
The bureau of economy development:in charge of the research making and organization implementation of the economy goal and plan,direcring industrial and commercial enterprises to do something of utilizing foreign fund,technology innovation,restructuring and turning losses into profits;managing work of technological improvement project for industrial and commercial enterprises,safety production,quality and technicial surpervision; macro administration and direction for enterprises,the development plan of the tertiary industry as well as constronction of the industrial park run by private citizens.
The bureau of investment promotion :working out and carrying out the plan of investment promotion,project packing ,drawing up the information of investment promotion and approval service of projects and enterprises in the JEDZ,exercising the managing limits of authority on behalf of Jintan municipal government for the enterprises in the JEDZ;starting up ,planning ,administration and service of high-tech industry,declaration of all kinds of sci-tech project and patent application of independent intellectual property rights,creating condition to build up patent park.
Finance bureau:drawing up the financial budget and final accounts,collection and timely transferring and settling of ralated tax,fee and all kinds of funds;collection and managing of non-budget funds;statistics,autiting and surpervision of finacial affairs for enterprise and undertaking units;administering and inflation-proof in value for the state-owned and collective properties.
The bureau of rural work: the plan and its implementation of agriculture and rural work ,investigation and reseach of rural working polocies,restructuring of agricultural industry and plan implementation of water conservancy construction,promotion and application of agricultural new technology and new strains;administering the agricultural technology.rural economy.farming machinery and rural electricity.
The bureau of personal,labor and social security: working plan of personal and talent,reform of cardre personal system,mechanism setting within the organ and management of staff quoatas,building of civil servant team and professional technical contigent,development of talent resources,wage and welfare as well as job guide of the graduates. Plan of labor and social security ,implementation of the Labor Law,management of labor contract system,basic living security of worker and re-employment,management and running of all kinds of insurance funds and labor arbitration.
The bureau of social undertakings:culture,education,healthcare,sports,broadcast,television,civil affairs,justice,tacking public security in a comprehensive way, law service,family planning and community management.
The brueau of construction and environment protection:drafting land block plan per the regulation,tetailed plan and all kinds of professional plan;in charge of the JEDZ’s land requisition,land rent,land lease,land transfer,land modifying,managing the application and approval procedures of these affairs;land for construction,plan management and implementation management of all construction engineerings;in charge of the environment check and approval and environment protection in JEDZ,environment assessment and feasibility proof of JEDZ’s projects.
