Jiangsu Jintan Economic Development zone (here after referred to as JEDZ) was founded in 1993.It was approved by Jiangsu Provicial Pepole’s Government and it is a provincial level ecomomic development zone.The JEDZ is lacated in the eastern side of Jintan city’s proper ,links with the Jintan’s proper , it has an area of 68 sgqkm,15sgqkm has been developed.

The JEDZ’s infrastructure is perfect , all projects’ land parcels are reached to “seven links and one level”:they are included the road,electricity,tap water ,drainage ,telecommunication ,wide-band ,cable-TV and level land ;some parcels may link steam and gas,
realized “nine links one level”.The JEDZ’s environment of hunman settlements is excellent ,all kinds of living quarters consisting of the villa group,apartment buildings and high-story housing buildings have been built,evaluated as State-level and province-level excellent quarters respectively.There is perfect education system in the JEDZ,the First Senior Middle School,the Third Junior Middle School,the Fifith Junior Middle School,Jintan Vocational High School,Huacheng Experimental Primary School and Huancheng Experimental Kindergaten offered the residents a great convenience,especially the vocational high school cultivated a lot of techlonogical talents for the enterprises in the JEDZ.
